    A fantastic servant for BCAFC and I only have happy memories of his time with us, scoring some crucial goals and battering defenders

    When my lad was a nipper he absolutely adored big James Hanson, and he would always stop for a photo - even when we bumped into him at Leicester Forest services after he left us. For that I’ll always be thankful

    Yep. I'd put him in the legend category for us (although not much competition!). Always a handful. Won his fair share of aerial duals,held the ball up and defended opposition set pieces. Best £7,500 we've spent!

    Ran himself into the ground every game wearing City colours. At the centre of the most enjoyable period of watching City since the first season in the PL.

    I was in class teaching when he buried that header. The kids thought I was losing my mind. Wife joined them when I told her I was flying back to England for a football match. Thank you James Hanson.

    Had just landed in the snow at LBA on the night of the Aston Villa away leg where he scored probably his most memorable goal
    Listened to last 10 minutes in car on way home.

    2nd biggest regret as a city fan not being at that game.

    My lad was about ten and got his first phone,his mum told him to make sure he looked after it.Next night he fell over two rows in the cop and smashed it when that header went in against Leeds.Thanks for the memories Jim and all the best for the future.
