They played some superb football last night, but the last fifteen minutes did annoy me. I felt it was unfair on Belgium.

 

The BBC sport caught the italian striker lying down in the penalty area, dying and trying to con a penalty and they score their first goal and he checks where the ref is and promptly gets up as nothing happened.

Quality comedy.

I'd have loved it if the ref had stopped the game just as the lad went clean through to score. Then restart with the Belgium team back behind the ball.

Now that would have been justice and excellent punishment for the play actor.

 

Fair point. I remember watching the Italian football on C4 and it was certainty very different to the English football that I was used to.

I agree there, but thought they could have beaten Italy. Italy let them have the chances, so definitely wouldn't say they are unbeatable

 

Italy were so comfortable throughout even after Belgium's soft penalty

 

Think Spain will turn them over on Tuesday

 

I doubt it, but I hope they do. If England can manage to get past Denmark then I'd fancy our chances against Spain more than Italy.
