    I was told to try and connect with 4g. Works perfectly. But cannot connect through Wi-fi? Thought I had been banned.

    Speaking to our IT guy you should be back to normal within 48hrs

    We did some server upgrades and some systems take a while to catch up

    Every time I reply to a post, it “watches” it so I get emails when someone replies.

    Can this behaviour be turned off by default?

    Sorry if already mentioned.

    Go to your Alert Preferences by hovering over your name and you can switch off the emails in there.

    As I found out myself, it doesn't always make the change retrospectively and some older threads may still continue to create an email alert. This will be shown at the top of the thread (Watch or Unwatch Thread) and you can turn it off there for particular threads.
