    To mention the weather.....

Conditions remarkably similar, if not worse, to pre Salford

When the Salford game was off most in our league we’re off as well, but despite the constant rain no postponement anywhere in the EFL yesterday so probably the wind in between the rain helping the pitches. It’s a decent forecast for Boxing Day so let’s hope for the 3 points.

We haven't had a dry day in months.

And then we had the climate scaremongers on mainstream media telling us all we're in a dangerous drought when we had a week of sunshine in the summer :joy:

Had it been 3 or 4 degrees lower my original forecast would have been valid ...

Whenever the weather is a few degrees above or below average on a weather report there's always the same old disclaimer "scientists believe that climate change causes yada yada yada". Give it a rest man. It's cold in the winter, it's warm in the summer. It's always been that way and always will be that way.

The worst one I saw was when someone in their 20s died in a queue outside the Taylor Swift concert in Rio last month. The actual temperature was in the 20s (celsius), but they reported the temperature as a combination of temperature and humidity. I mean, who on earth in the general population measures temperature by that? it's just blatantly obvious agenda driven scaremongering. Only an utter fool wouldn't see through it.

"Authorities warned of the danger to life as it recorded a heat index, which combines temperature with humidity, of 59.3C (138.7F) on Friday followed by 59.7C (139.5) on Saturday."

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-67465742

And see below the actual weather that day:

    Screenshot 2023-12-24 at 19.20.36.png

Sounds blatantly very much like another cardiac arrest/sudden death of someone in their 20s being covered up.

Taking it from this thread there has been plenty of rain in Bradford? Apart from the wind, only an odd patch of light drizzle to report here in N Yorks for the last few days.

Thinking the sprinklers would need to be on for a few hours tomorrow and on Boxing Day morning at VP to get the moisture in.

I think some posters might want to avoid booking cruises. I’d hate to think any of you sail off the end of the world.

Looking at the charts, I see no real weather issues regarding the Boxing Day fixture.

Next Friday's match may be more of an issue, with plenty of snow/rain on Wednesday, a bit more on Thursday and another system that may well affect Yorkshire on Friday. A bit too early to be certain, but definitely one to keep an eye on.

P.S. Michael Fish says it will be fine.
