    Simple eh.

Makes you wonder why they don't just print trillions, pay off all the debt and end world hunger for a laugh while they're at it.

So it's only the UK that's suffering hikes in gas, electric, petrol, food, inflation, council tax, mortgage increases etc, thank goodness were not like many EU countries heavily reliant on Russian oil/gas I don't think so, and as a businessman I would have thought you'd know its a world wide situation which Covid has not helped over the last two years.

Just out of interest, do you honestly think the Marxist alternative in Corbyn would have fared any better, because they would have crucified businesses like your empire, especially during the pandemic

You never saw or read Corbyn worshipping regimes such as the Venezuelan model then?.

As for businesses, he is renowned for having such strong anti-capitalist views and against free markets, yet had no viable alternative options. He would have nationalised Fordy's business empire for example!

You would get mugged off again? Show me this levelling up of the North.

Money doesn’t have to be paid back it’s just something the government’s say to fuel your mind. You do understand money is printed don’t you?

In my mind only a mug would vote for Conservatives next time around but some people like getting done over and over again. Unless your lockdown was at one of their tea parties while people where dying. Only judge those in charge.

As for season tickets. I have said my point

To whoever messaged me with the long winded reason for moving my post, I did say it and expected it would be removed. I don't need the explanation.

    Thanks

You just cant help yourself can you, not a single comment with regards the thread title, just your usual ramblings with regards the last election etc, even as we are I wouldn't vote for the present labour party, they are brilliant at pointing out the wrongs of the government but offer little how they would deal with the situation apart from telling everyone the government need to shell out more money to people, not sure where this Labour money tree is, but what don't you understand with regards giving more money, it has to be paid back, so by all means disagree with my opinion but give some relative constructive comments to the reasons why season tickets should increase in price..mate.

Well that's what you tell us, then again you told us you'd settle our bets.

You do understand the May elections are local elections don't you ? in my ward it really doesn't matter what I vote it is a Labour stronghold as it was in the General Election, and although I voted Tory Judith Cummings won again (with a reduced majority), I emailed her asking as a Labour voter in her ward she would honour the referendum vote, she replied with a load of waffle IMO so I told her I could not support her in the coming General Election, her ward had a majority of leavers but as with most MPs when push comes to shove they don't care about things like that they know better.

Never seen Corbyn arguing for a communist society, fairer - yes. What evidence do you have he would have crucified businesses?

Why because you are stuck in the old times and think you have to nail your colours down?

Look, you judge those in charge and see how they improve your city.

If the people of Bradford like waking up to stories like this today then yeah continue being a mug and vote for Boris. Bradford isn’t Chelsea

    levelling up going well @Bronco@Bronco

We seem to be in the wrong part of the forum for political discussion. I will just make a few points here.
I am very sceptical of charities putting forward their views on this subject as they are mainly left wing. There was no cut in UC it was a temporary uplift to help families during the pandemic. I would want to see much more scant detail than this, plus I would want a drill down into numbers of children in families and alcohol and drug abuse etc.,

I am pleased you are enjoying living in Leeds, but you do realise you are depriving the ppl of Bradford of your council tax which might go some way to improving levels of poverty in this city. Bradford has one of the lowest house prices in the UK which means less council tax.
Apologies to the forum we are way off topic.
