I'm amazed there are so many people wetting themselves about this. It does absolutely nothing as regards the actual problem. A lot of normally level-headed people seem to have turned gullible at the merest fluttering of Julian's eyelashes.

 

Interesting that Mr I don't do interviews (2 in 12 years), suddenly can't stop talking to the T&A and the Club website.

An extra 1,000 'fans' to witness the 'flyby' ?

 

Ive been to every home game bar Rochdale and to several away games this season how much more do you want me to support the players and manager.
It's a crying shame that it has taken National media intervention and the stay away fans (not forgetting the up and coming fly bye) to get Rupp to get involved, I was thinking it was only Edin with the massive ego it looks like Stefan was reluctant to get himself or some else to get involved to save his investment until recently, a blind man could see that our club was in a very serious way as far back as last December when Grayson was brought in and couldn't change stuff.

@Park bantam . I contributed to the flyover and will contribute to any further legitimate activity in the hope of change. Notice as a contributor, I use the word change. Very open to the definition.
Right at the start of this thread, I used the words "fair play". It was late and I had worked the best part of 14 hours yesterday. To elaborate now, this is a great gesture on the part of Bradford City FC, whomever may be the architect of the idea.

However, a long road is ahead of all connected at the club both on and off the pitch. On the pitch I am frustrated, but attend all games supporting as appropriate depending on the circumstances. At 4-2 Vs Coventry I went home. No booing, just home ( well via The Record). Off the pitch, well so much has been written, old fables and that.

As I say , I fully support the flyover in hoping for change. A refocus of minds and hearts. A realisation change has to occur. A connection. A design for better. Recognition of the past mistakes.

Hopefully this and any future activities lead to the change.

 

Anybody willing to ride on a coach to Plymouth to watch this team, even for free, needs their head checked.

 

Interesting that JR is already straight into his groove and making decisions, giving interviews. I wonder if we will see ER take a significant step back.

Cheap initiatives.
I want to see a squad of players who entertain on a match day not just go through the motions half-heartedly.
We capitulate far to easily.
£1 or £25 it's still the same cheap product out on the pitch week in week out.

 

Some may be happy to attend for £1, I thought Juilan had more sense than to realise its not about cheap tickets any longer.

I think the £1 in initiative is a cracking idea, and I hope we get 20,000 and back the team to the hilt.

This in no way devalues the flyover, the more eyeballs the better, the issues with our chairmen remain extremely poignant and desperate attempts from a handful of posters to put a stop to it are redundant.

 

Are the two men at the top the club now? Lawn used to say that whoever owned the club were just custodians, I agree with him and certainly would say that the club is made up from more than just private investors. The fans will continue to back the players and Hopkin, as they have all season a plane flying overhead won't change that.

 

But this is it.

You don't give a monkey's who owns the club, yet those who own the club have wrecked our position as a top-end League One club.

So I don't understand how you can maintain your stance, while hypocritically calling for fans to do their part to improve things? They ARE doing their bit, it's just not the comfortable ride you are prepared to take part in.

Rhodes has my support.

Hopkin has my support.

The team have my support.

Bradford City has my undivided, undying support.

The custodians, however, do not, but so what?

 

JR making his mark already with this and free travel to posh. He has done more in less than a week to try and please the fans than Edin has in over 2 years.

 

Please cancel the fly over and give people their money back. Time to move on and back Paula and JR. The owners are doing what they can to build bridges. Fly over when new fans are coming for a pound is wrong and toxic.
