It was a bit dodgy to start with but was reliable towards the mid-end of the season.

I listen to most games as I can't travel up. You get some build up and the post match interviews. The commentary is the BBC Leeds version. In addition there's videos you can watch. It's worth it I'd say as I can't get any of the radio commentary on the radio.

I have the audio version if you want info on the live stream version to watch the match then I think @TallinnBantam has that.

 

I thought it was great. Had very few issues and could watch all the games live from across the world in a decent quality stream. It takes a bit of getting used to watching live football with no commentary but other than that it’s great. L1 football available live anywhere in the world is incredible IMO.

 

Is there a way round it to watch this live streaming in the uk?and why no noise on it?

There's no commentary but you can hear the crowd I believe. I'm sure you can watch it live in the UK - there's two subscriptions one with audio commentary only and one with live feed.

Clubs can add commentary from this season and onscreen graphics so will be interesting to see if City do this.

Also games will be available to view in the UK except those on Saturday 14:45-17:15, bank holidays or Easter and not picked for Sky. So midweek games, details will be announced later how to get access.

 

Easily done with a VPN

 

Agreed , mate of mine just changed his location and it thinks you are in France watched a few last year

I thought it was great after early season glitches. Worked really well on PC (I used Chrome) with a VPN but using it on my mobile with a VPN rarely worked.
However, anyone using a VPN, be warned. They changed their Geo-locating side of the service and started to spot and block VPNs. Mine (a paid for/premium service) was blocked when logging in from various worldwide locations, I managed to find a stealth one in the Ukraine that worked, but over time I guess they will find and block more, certainly the free ones.
I am not intending to get it this year partly because of this (also because I am going to have to suffer the home games enough, not sure I want more!). Can still pay on a game by game basis.

 

As said by someone else, there is sound but it’s just the crowd/players. There is no commentary. And no the video is only available outside the U.K. there is a live commentary subscription for people in the U.K.

Yeah I used it all season. At first you could open two windows and get commentary and the game. Just had to sync them up. Then they took away this option which I thought was a shame.
Quality is good. Some lagging now and again.
Will be interesting to see if they further enhance this season.
Will be subscribing for sure.

 

Easy way round it. Most of our armchair fans use it instead of going to home matches !!
