No problem @Ricc I think @Dom Polean could be an old adversary from C&B.

 

No idea who he is Bronco but I think he's absolutely bang on the money. When McCall first gave us some cryptic clues about Rahic it was suggested on C&B (can't remember by who) that they weren't getting on and Rahic was interfering and as I recall you were one of his most ardent defenders. If I remember rightly you were saying it was all speculation, there was no proof and it was, literally, complete nonsense.

I wish I could log onto C&B to pull up the old posts because as far as I'm concerned, up until the actual sacking of Stuart McCall you were one of the few staunch backers of Herr Rahic and his master plan.

 

And you'd also be wrong, once I heard what was happening during the closed season after Wembley I and a few more posted stuff about what Rahic was doing and got plenty of grief, but I'm not suprised about the comnents youve posted.

For the record, I was never of the side of Rahic, his opening gambit when taking over of his unrealistic plans, rang immediate alarm bells for me.

Correct. Like you I had qualms about the mopping up talented youngsters and selling them for millions. Unlike you, because I am an optimistic soul, I thought that there would be two budgets one for the Rahic project and one for the 1st team. I also trusted Rhodes and Lawn when they said they would not sell to anyone who could not take this club forward. When they sacked McCall that was it for me, but like everyone else I heard the rumours which were alarming. That video gave me sleepless nights as well.

We have been relegated with one of the leagues highest budgets. We have made our way through 3 managers. Edin left when.. Dec 4th roughly.
He wasn’t seen for at least a month before then! We are now 4 and a half months later and nothing has improved.

Yes all of that is correct. He never said he knew anything about football, he was just an investor and he thought Rahic would handle the football and he would cough up the money. Massive mistakes! However, atm we don’t have a choice but to see if he can listen to advice and dip into his back pocket. If not, we are in trouble.

 

I get your "why does Stefan get a bye" reasoning, Id suggest because he has shown he's prepared to stick around after being made to look a fool by his business partner at the time.
Although Stefan has to take some responcability for the past situation.
Do we have a choice, piss this guy off and we don't know where it could take our club in the short term, like it or not we have to take him at his word.
We know the likes of Glenn & Roger are assisting where they can to try and turn the club around we have to be patient and hope the turnaround comes sooner rather than later.

 

Stefan Rupp might well be clueless, and negligent - and I'm not going to be the one to disagree with that view - however, he's all we've got at the minute, and until someone comes forward to takeover then that isn't going to change.

and it doesn't matter how clueless he is if all he's doing is providing the finances and letting JR run things day to day.

For what it's worth, I remember Bronco warning people of Rahic when PP left. Albeit I ignored all of it until he appointed Collins....

 

So what do you want him to do, be present on a daily basis, handle the recruitment? appoint managers? pick the team? or continue funding the shortfall?

 

to be honest, I think it's pretty clear to all that the instigator of the disaster at our club is none other than our very own @Interested Bystander . we were fine and then he joined the forum and it all went horribly wrong.

 

I found it difficult to believe at the time so I could understand fellow fans questioning me, but to say I was in bed with Rahic is rediculous.

 

I questioned both you and @Ricc to be fair, I was wrong on both accounts!!
