Hypothetical as it stands but what happens if he goes? Do the missing fans suddenly come back? We would still have the same team thats failing miserably but would Rahic leaving make a difference the support we give to the team? The focus of our anger would be gone, do we then turn on the team or do we then get behind them in some valiant attempt to escape the dreaded drop to the khazi league?
My take on it? I think if Rahic did depart then we would see a backs to the wall mentality from fans and players alike with the bad smell finally evaporated. It might be too late to effect the outcome of the season but at least it would give some purpose to turning up to the games.

    Who would take control ?
    I don't think they're queuing up.

    I agree with you Roger.

If they were to suddenly sell up, I think the missing fans would be back onboard and get behind the new owners management and players.

Would be a lovely dream to come true if the penny dropped with the clowns and they put us up for sale. There is no way back for them now, no chance of getting the fans back onside, so if they have an ounce of sense left , they would do the decent thing and leave us alone

I think if Edin left, the mood would be like somewhere inbetween the Munchkins celebrating the demise of the Wicked Witch and those Ewoks playing Imperial Stormtroopers' helmets like a glokenspiel at the end of Return Of The Jedi......

People would be back in droves. The team might be shit but nobody is really pissed off with the team, it's how it came to be that's got people irked

If Edin left, mmmm, I dont think he will.
He just needs to get folks in charge that can run the team while he runs the rest of the club.

Thats how he can make money and how the team can be successful

    Unfortunately -
he has blown the club apart.
The only bandage is for the board to invest a healthy sum on the team structure.

oh, and Edin needs to have words with the fans and let us know the club will be sorted asap

if Rahic left and Rupp appointed someone to run the club there would be an immediate bounce. If Rupp apologised for the mess and said it’s a new start and he’s gonna fix it there would be much bigger attendances, a return of the missing atmosphere and a full throated support for the manager and the team no matter how bad they are. Sadly, can’t see it.

Sums up my feelings, RT. As is human nature, time is a healing process. But YES, we would again draw the team to our hearts, poor as they are - For we would (hopefully) know change is possible, and only around the corner, even if that is in League two. It would give us a base to work from, at a level we could cope with. And as you suggest ..... Us Bantams are hardy souls, and will continue the rehabilitation via the terraces. We fully understand that Wars and Battles have consequences, and suffer casualties, sometimes heavy - But heart will never be lost. :)

Where's the money ? Edin must be on 10 k a month I reckon just a guess and his wife gets a wage I think I read so yes he moved over and relocated his family but he will be living well and I'm sure they have both started seeing a return on their investment

Me and Junior HendrieFC would be straight back to give the squad a second chance. I'm ok with going down a division if it means we get our club back (passion, values and unity).

The situation is entirely self inflicted, that is the hardest thing to accept for me and I won't accept that by continuing to fund the owners.

It's gone for me, I don't care at the moment and we are down, I won't set foot in VP but I'll take in 2 or 3 away games before the season end. But.........yep, if there was a fresh start with new owners in L2 then I'd buy an ST, I'd look forward to that opportunity.

You are not the first to say you don't care anymore. However, you really do care, that the clowns in charge, have undone all the good work done by the previous owners and of course Parky.
If you didn't care, you wouldn't check in on here, for example. If you didn't care, you would not be bothered what the clowns are doing.
So you and all the others who are boycotting matches at the moment do actually care deep down

Exactly - if he sold up and fooked off, we've got our team back. For a bit at least. Depends who he sold it to. But as mentioned, moan as we do about how crap our team are, it's not really about that is it?

I think that's what is meant when people say they don't "care". Of course they still check the result at 4:45pm on Saturday. Of course they still read the back of the T&A first. Of course they still hurt when they are getting the piss taken out of them by non City supporters. What they mean is, they still have claret and amber running in their veins, but someone has taken the love away from them. Someone has got between the love of their lives and turned it against them. It's the same way it never worked out with that lass, even though you were both meant for each other. That bloke came along and turned her head, but deep down, you still know you were meant for each other, and you'd walk over broken glass if that guy buggered off.

    Edin doesn't know football.

Yep, I don't care whether City win or lose at Gillingham, could win 0-1, lose 6-0, I am just not bothered because I know that the one result won't affect the interminable decline under this regime/system. Re-start it and I'm in again, start another if we leave L2 and I'm in for that too.

Somebody posted that they knew a friend who hadn't even collected his ST, unless we both know the same Paul then I know another too, along with plenty who didn't renew and others who have just stopped going. I still think some are oblivious to how fast this club is going down the pan.

the thing is. if someone came into to run the club the problem is, they wouldn't care that much if we won or lost or how well we did theyd be getting a wage

maybe the guy at thackley, he would be my choice right now
