Just one point to pick up on. The majority of us don’t want a head coach. That’s Edin’s idea. He wants a puppet he can manipulate. We the fans want a manager. Someone who knows what they’re doing and that has complete say over all things football related.

He's a highly regarded coach who'd improve players. He's young so we'd be looking at the long term.

The big concern is he bombed at Hearts in a big way, in his first job. Really seemed to struggle with the man management side of things. Hearts were relegation candidates when they sacked him.

 

According to a sentence on his Wikipedia page it says an ex player said his training ‘lacked intensity’ - perfect for our wimps!

 

If Andy Tod is coming back, can we tempt Gary Locke and Jim Jefferies to be part of the backroom team too?

I note he was McLaren's assistant at Newcastle once upon a time. I would take McLaren for sure with Cathro assisting.
If the board want a coach, unlike some who seem to dismiss his credentials, McLaren would be ideal. Doubt we could tempt him to league 1 though

Doesnt matter what manager we get, these owners have said they want whoever comes in to make the best of THIS CURRENT SQUAD, its like expecting preston to win the champions league, pipe dream.
