Strangely, I'm not as angry or pissed off as I should be. I'd already resigned myself to relegation after Plymouth last week but lived in hope.

 

Thats exactly it Olly - how many of these players will actually hurt tonight following that shambles. Too many players whos futures are probably not with us and a manager who (very sadly) is being found out more with each passing game.
I honestly dont know where we go from here but SR and JR need to do something to preserve some heart at the club

You’re right and this is why we will go down. There is no claret and amber running through the veins of this team. We’ve signed a bunch of cast offs that couldn’t get into previous clubs starting 11, what does this tell you ? It’s alright being able to play football but you need bollocks and we have none.

Look at that back 4 today, what must likes of Darby, McArdle, Davies, McMahon be thinking. We’ve had 20 shots today they’ve had 3, they’ve thrown everything at our 20 shots, we’ve done nothing to stop their 3 shots.

I actually don’t blame Hopkin. Today his subs were too late and questionable, but he’s the manager I want for next season. However it’s the squad that hurts me.

Absolutely spot on. If most of these players could understand the type of players and personalities we have had in the past, they might start to understand just how much this hurts.

I genuinely feel that very little of them care. The only one I see upset by all of this is O’Donnell. This isn’t about players being animated more than others, just obvious by body language. Speaking of which, I think you could see at the end that reality had hit in for many of them.

 

Who do you suggest. It would have to be someone instantly available and willing to come. Should we bring in someone permanently or till the end of the season.
