I follow for £6 - Commentary only?

    Edited - it looks like it’s 6 € euros but calling it video



    I am in Greece at the moment, and I logged onto my Ifollow account and if I click on today’s match video it shows me a £6 only option.
    .

    Is that just radio commentary?

    As it knows I am a UK resident and with UK bank details, will it block me off, or, because it can tell that I’m abroad, let it work?

    I fancy watching today’s match.

    Don't use your UK account if you already have the basic ifollow subscription. Make a new account as that's what went wrong for me before.

    Using a UK card and billing address is fine though.

    As it wants to charge me 6€ rather than £5 it would appear that it already knows I’m abroad.

    Should I just click on the buy it now button as I’m unsure how you make a new account? On the club app site as it only asks for name email etc. How does this differentiate from my own sign on? Thanks

    When I was in Cyprus for the Northampton game I did it charge me 6 euro to watch

    I tried to to open an account in Cyprus with girlfriends address hoping when came back to England I could use it didn’t bloody work here lol

    I have used my UK account to watch many matches while in Greece. I've never had a problem but I believe some folk have occasionally

    I was abroad for the Oldham game, bought the match pass using my UK account for €6 but when it came to watch the game it still thought I was at home. I went on the live chat thing and they said you can't use your UK account if you're already subscribed to the £5 a month standard subscription thing. So if you have that then I'd create a new account but if you don't have that subscription you might be ok to use your normal account.

    I don’t have any subscription with I follow so as it shows €6 I’ll have a punt and click on the buy it now. At worst, I’ve lost £5. Be nice to watch it round the Pool ‍♀️

    I'm currently in Spain and I'm trying to buy it to watch it on my phone. It only seems to offer me the audio option. Anybody any ideas? Does Spain not have the rights? Is City's mobile website just crap?

    Yeh I think that's what it is as there's no other difference between my two accounts, same card and billing address so must be that.

    It just offers me the 6 euros saying it’s video. I’ve no idea if it will divert to just audio when I pay.

    I connected to Wifi and up comes the 6euro option so we're all good and streaming now. Seems it doesn't work when roaming

    Anybody else finding the video and audio are miles out of sync? Audio's about 10 seconds behind.

    It’s messed up. Commentary is about 30 secs behind video. Also, the picture is just black when cast to a tv.
    Happens.

    I've turned my audio off. Utterly pointless with a lag like that.

    Forgot to say - it worked a treat apart from the commentary not being in sync. Must remember when on holiday next time.

    Commentary in sync for second half though.

    I was joking about it being stuck on halftime.
    After the commentary was messed up, I watched the rest of the game on mute. Mrs was pleased - especially as it wouldn't cast correctly to the tv either.

    Usually it's spot on.

    Commentary was out of sync for the Bolton game 2-3 weeks back. Ridiculous that it’s still happening. Product not fit for purpose.
