Saturday sees Mark Hughes take charge of his 46th League game for us and if we win that his record will be

    Won 21
    Drawn 12
    Lost 13
    Scored 56
    Conceded 43
    Points 75

Only a couple of wins off automatic form.

Some bloody silly losses in there as well. Barrow and Rochdale at home, Colchester and Barrow away this season come to mind.
    If only.

I feel confident. I think the Barrow game could well be the turning point for how Hughes approaches home games and we get ourselves a good little run going at home

I think the fans can play an instrumental part in solidifying our home form. @Loyalbantam@Loyalbantam has a very good point on the atmosphere at VP, especially midweek games. We all can take it upon ourselves to notch the volume.

Coupled with the Barrow defeat you describe, we all need to back the players, even in issues we may not agree with.

Maybe the players are only part of the answer...

Throw Stockport in there as well....and the 2pts against Swindon.

Frustrating but all teams will be angry at dropping needless points in games. Its how we react and finish the season now.

Agree the fans can play their part. I think if we go out and play like we have against Donny and Gillingham, then I think the crowd will raise the atmosphere accordingly, win or lose. It was the 204 passes between our centre backs that killed the Barrow match.

That takes into account two loses in first 2 games as he inherited Adams and Turnballs pile of poo

Hughes has done a great job.
Turned us from soft rollovers to a solid potential promotion winning side.
I really don't miss O Connors slips, Watts misplaced passes, O Donnels flappy hands, Songo'os own goals, and all the crap January recruits of years gone by.

    Exactly this.
At our level mistakes are made every week by players, managers and officials.
Fatty Evans said the other week that he’d had an apology about a penalty at Newport earlier this season.
That could have given them an extra 2 points.
Nowt you can do about it after the event.
All teams in the division can find games where a dodgy decision went for or against them.

I believe Elliott Watt has the most assists in league 2 so far this season. It's a shame he was seduced by the Salford money, I reckon he would have been a stand out player for us this season under MH

There is no doubt Watt would have been an asset as would Paudie but we have recruited very well in that area

Paudie is a decent centre half and alongside the defenders we have now would have been very solid
