Its their equivalent of us losing the L1 playoff final, but on a much bigger scale. We needed that win to retain several players, and really kick on. Same story for them.

Happy days. Hopefully they'll be back in L1 soon.

 

We didn't receive extra money that other clubs didn't to try and achieve that aim though, that was the point.

£100M is certainly a sizable advantage over, say Nottingham Forest, so I just can't accept that they were over achieving.

Looks like town are imploding, carlos has left and they have replaced him with a danny scofield.. apparently “knows the club well” wasn't even assistant coach!

I think their parachute payments have ended so I'm guessing that there's an element of cost cutting happening which the ex-manager decided wasn't for him.

 

Would like to praise but I can’t there nobhead fans regarded Kevin Gray as an hero for what he did to Watson ............so hopefully they drop and see how loyal there fans really are

 

We don't get many Huddersfield fans on here these days, I can't think why not!

 

this aged well, he was sacked a few months later, replaced with an unknown head coach.. even saying in YP that town have "no funds" for January window!!

will be down at march at this rate! another reason to get out of L2!!
