We didn't receive extra money that other clubs didn't to try and achieve that aim though, that was the point.

£100M is certainly a sizable advantage over, say Nottingham Forest, so I just can't accept that they were over achieving.

I think their parachute payments have ended so I'm guessing that there's an element of cost cutting happening which the ex-manager decided wasn't for him.

 

Would like to praise but I can’t there nobhead fans regarded Kevin Gray as an hero for what he did to Watson ............so hopefully they drop and see how loyal there fans really are

6 months on and this post is ageing rather well.

The parachute payments should be abolished with immediate effect and shared across the football league which would then help to restore a bit of sporting credibility in the Championship.

 

The bottom of the championship table is looking good at the moment.

 

this aged well, he was sacked a few months later, replaced with an unknown head coach.. even saying in YP that town have "no funds" for January window!!

will be down at march at this rate! another reason to get out of L2!!
