How to get the floaters back

    What a disappointing and sickner, this season has been.
    Up until January, ALL was good at BCAFC - But a return of less than 20 points since then, sticks in our minds.
    I have only witnessed 8 home games (plus Plymouth, F A C), and 2 away.
    From those 8 home games - I only saw 3 Wins - YES, just 3.
    All in all ... Just 4 victories from 11 games ! :( And none were 'well done'.
    THIS from a side which was unbeaten at home, the season before.

    I have not felt that LOW since our PL days, where defeat was almost expected.

    To get the 'floaters' back onside, City must re-build that 'fortress' mentality at VP, in that we lose only once in every five (if any), rather than about one in two.
    'Floaters' don't attend AWAY games - they buy into whats on offer in their home town - so lets make the product more attractive again - and stop losing HOME games.

    THAT is one of the first improvements I would enforce, as an incoming Manager.

    I’d hope whoever we get in as manager tries to get that mentality into the players. You want the oppo knowing they’ve been in a game when they come off that pitch. You want them looking at the fixture list thinking “Christ! We’re at Valley Parade in a few weeks”. Over a period of time that will translate to the stands and then the fans will start creating an intimidating atmosphere.

    I agree One of the big reasons people have stayed away is this seasons home form with an almost unprecedented 9 defeats.Not only that but the football we have played at home with one or two notable exceptions as lacked excitement. So your right home form is the key

    I/we wish it were just *9* defeats... Just about anything after a league season undefeated at home was going to be a letdown, but to collapse so completely...
