Mate, I am only going by my area managers feedback. I know sweet FA about him.

 

Sparks confirmed we got at least our fee back for him and there's no chance we're paying any wage for him, we didn't need to let him go if we didn't want

 

Personally don't care what other fans think of players who have left them. Pretty sure none of TMAC's previous clubs had supporters gutted to see him leave and he turned out well.

No comparison. Adams is a "proper football manager" in the mould of Parky, with four promotions on his CV, whilst Boreya is a glorified PE teacher who thinks he's the re-incarnation of Brian Glover from Kes. Infact if you photoshop hair on Brian Glover there is a resemblance to Boreya.

Totally agree with the last sentence. Adams needs to be given two full seasons to achieve promotion and I think unless we are in the bottom five or six (which we wont be) he will get the time.

 

I hope you're right about the time. As I said I don't think Ryan or DA help themselves by making it sound like its promotion or bust. It sets an expectation with fans that if it doesnt happen it's taxi time for Del.

 

They seem to be happy to make prediction which as you say puts them on the spot, hearing both they seem to enjoy the pressure.

 

Yes, I saw them both in the Lord Clyde last night singing the Queen & David Bowie song "Under Pressure" on karaoke. Good job they did of like.

 

There's nothing wrong with being ambitious and setting goals.
The trouble is writing cheques with your mouth you can't cash.
If we fail at promotion this season we (the fans) will expect heads to roll because of comments made by Ryan and Adams before a ball was kicked.
If Ryan had said he'd got Derek in to improve things and drive us forward over the next few years fair do. Expectations would be to see consistent progress. But we have an all-or-nothing expectation based on their rhetoric.
