I've already given up on the predictions league, lose this and I won't be rushing to VP if something better turns up.

 

If we lose we will have same points tally after ten games as last season

 

Rochdale lost at home against bottom club Oldham, surely City have a chance?
Probably not at this moment.

Looking at their formation and they go ultra defensive 3 at the back.
They will eat the cook, cannot see many chances here.

Sh•t happens in football. Get over it. True supporters attend through thick and thin.
Most people on this forum would not have a clue how to run a Sunday league club, let alone a pro team. Life is tough, money is tight for many teams. A big ground and fan base means bugger all in any league. Stop the perpetual moaning and put your energy into singing and supporting.

 

Ps also, it makes me laugh when people are so flippant with comments like we need a new owner, sparks and Adam’s out…… and replace them with who May I ask?

 

Some of our fans have a massively unjustified superiority complex over every team in the league and it’s utterly embarrassing.
Since the 1958/59 season we’ve spent most of our time in the lower leagues.
We’ve spent 17 consecutive years knocking about between league 1 and 2. I fully understand ambition but the way some of our lot look down on teams like Harrogate and Sutton who have earned their right to be in the football league is really getting on my nerves.

Well said sir.
We have a club that still exists and is fairly financially stable.
People want a complete stranger to buy the club and throw money at us…. Why would anyone do that? Lower league clubs cannot rely on business man or women to fund us.

You just said a couple of words that made no sense? You think every club at the start of a seasons ambition isn’t to get promoted?

 

buy the club then….. answer me this. Who would buy the club? Considering the news from derby and our over zealous ambitions?

Still a fact that we’re in our 17th consecutive season in the lowest 2 leagues in the football pyramid isn’t it? We’ve sold season tickets at £6.50 a match… It’s not a shock that we get good attendances at that price is it. Does that mean we belong in the Championship and higher? Nope.. does it mean we get a load of mindless fans who don’t really understand how football works? Yep.
