Crazy tbh, I don’t know how these first world countries in Scandinavia and Canada survive for 3 months of the year with far worse than we could ever get, a tiny amount of snow in comparison and this country which is richer than all of those I’ve mentioned comes to a standstill. Whatever their secret is we need to finally learn it. Can’t believe a game is called off because of a couple of small side roads are dangerous, which should have been treated in advance I might add. Another game to add to the list.

Harrogate's game with Exeter is off tomorrow and already rearranged for Tuesday night. I know we can't do that with Crawley because they already have a game on Tuesday but Scunny don't, surely something could be sorted out so we can at least get that one played?

But making the surrounding area safe applies principally to a game where spectators are present. Surely we could have made it safe for the few people who would be in attendance to arrive and leave safely. I've looked at this from every angle and for the life of me I can't see why, if the pitch is playable tomorrow, the game couldn't go ahead. The ref was happy with the pitch so that should have been the end of his involvement today. And yet the EFL called it off. So either the ref contacted them to say the surrounds were unsafe, which, as I understand it, is beyond his remit, and despite the fact that he readily admitted he was not qualified to do so, or the club did. But why would they do that when we've moved heaven and earth to get the game played? And a further point, were the criteria applied those which relate to spectator safety when there aren't any spectators? I know I'm making a meal of this but as far as I can see this hasn't been handled correctly and I think we deserve an honest explanation.

The club have panicked about the overnight snow weather forecast which to date hasn’t materialised. They didn’t want Crawley travelling and then having to pay for their accommodation if the game was off. Had we been playing someone more local today the pitch is fine, there is not another fall of snow and we would have been playing.

The main issue today is that its Scunny v Barrow. Grimsby v Southend. Teams will be closer to us or in Scunny's case overtake us.

Scores on the doors are better than games in hand.

This game is still on according to BBC Sport "Bradford (Park Avenue)15:00 Chester", and I can tell you we've had far more snow up here than down at Valley Parade.

I'm guessing if they did make efforts to clear outside and some sort of accident did happen then the club are culpable whereas the finger of blame would lie soley with the council and i suspect any sort of insurance claims. Hypothtical situation i admit.

Given the forecast and todays weather (where the three inches of snow we had on our road has now completely gone) and the pitch being playable, someone's head needs to roll for this postponement.

Its probably the most unnecessary and premature postponement in the entire history of premature and unnecessary postponements

Well something has to give Fordy when relegation teams are playing each other. Good result with Grimsby Southend drawing. I thought Stevenage would beat Tranmere.

And its two points dropped for tranmere meaning we win the rearranged Cowley game and we are two closer to them.

Look up the table not down. Tranmere are within our sights easily

We are always poor in January, so all these postponed games this month might be to our advantage!

This is where missing games can hinder us. If we'd played Scunny we had a decent chance of winning. Now we missed that and given Crawleys position and form a draw wouldn't be a bad result but we'll have only picked up a couple of points in a couple of weeks which isn't great.
The lack of match time can be a positive and a negative so a performance similar to the December run will be what's needed now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
