This week I would suggest that all involved at Bradford City spend a significant amount of time making sure the players know what this game means.

Salford City, under Gary Bowyer, overtook us yesterday. Earlier in the season we were laughing at them. We said they'd picked a bad manager, they were underachieving horribly, etc etc etc

If there is anyone at this club in any doubt, this game is absolutely huge and the significance won't be lost on a single fan.

Make sure it's not lost on the players.

Losing to Bowyer's low scoring Salford City will be an utter catastrophe. The atmosphere turned at Carlisle; but Saturday could be a storm of epic proportions if we're treated to the same quality of performance against Gary's Ammies.

I firmly believe that the players have stopped playing for the manager. I can’t understand otherwise why that second half was so bad yesterday.
The forum on Tuesday will be interesting and I think it’s important we see new faces into the club asap to change this team because at the moment it is very stale.

I hope the team that wants the win gets the result on sat,

Bowyer was sacked for less, his City team was higher up the table.
Not only are we up again against a former City employee but they have a Turnbull and Oteh in their team.

Not feeling super confident on this one.

You’ve gotta look at salford and Mansfield and the likes who had all the build up before a ball was kicked as promotion favourites but started very slowly to say the least. They both now find themselves just outside of the play offs and looking upwards following a good run of form.

City on the other hand started quite well but our form has fallen off a cliff.
I can only see a draw at best for City. But salford have been quite good at the back recently so if we concede it will be a low scoring defeat

We all know what need's to happen at this game. Its got defeat written all over it.

Toxic level's of anger coming these player's way. Adam's is in for a shock too. Sparks is still in hiding I see.

I don't think the performance against Sutton once Canavan was sent off showed they weren't bothered I'd suggest the opposite a great battling performance from 10 men

It would be great to bring a quality striker in, but to get one in and be up to speed I can't see it happening, so will Cook be available after his "dead leg" as the other options Robinson/Lavery don't fill me with confidence.

Can’t see us winning. I’ll be surprised if we can get a draw, we just don’t seem to be good enough. But I firmly believe we will lose. Hope I’m wrong, obviously. But my optimism isn’t here anymore for the team. Going to take a seriously good run of results for me to become as optimistic as I used to be with Bradford City.

Surely a routine draw! Which will still see us drift further down the table.

    Agreed.

they have got no support from Adams who has continually questioned their ability and attitude, as well as questioning those who recruited them before him. Its no wonder theyve downed tools really

I think defeat is a mere formality. We know how Boreyer sets up and we failed to have a shot on target at Carlisle ffs and are lost without Cook.

Watt will misplace several passes in midfield, Threlkeld will run around like a headless chicken against his old club and our wide men will frustrate, as ever.

Pereira gets 15 mins at end when we’re on the back foot and can’t get into the game.

2-1 Salford if Angol and Cook are playing. 1-0 or 2-0 if not. Atmosphere to turn toxic in the stands and loud boos and jeers as the players leave the pitch.

adams passes the buck on the radio afterwards. Rupp sits there and does nothing. Sparks also nowhere to be seen.

Dunno whether can even be arsed going tbh. Always tried to be a glass half full person with Adams but had enough now. The players just don’t wanna know anymore.

As an example, if a manager had questioned Garry Jones ability or attitude, do you think he would have sulked and downed tools? Or do you think he would have given his all and proved that he was worthy of a place in the team? You can question Adam's methods and man management all you like, but the fact is, he isn't wrong about a lot of these players and if they had any pride in themselves let alone any pride in playing for the shirt, they'd be doing everything in their power to prove him wrong. Their attitude at the moment only serves to prove what Adams has been saying is right.

He's the manager and gets paid good money to manage. If he can't do that then leave! It's that simple.

He hasn't improved any player or believes in youth. So lets not make excuses for failure.

A rhetorical question if ever there was one. Jones would have buckled down, got the squad onside and taken the game, any game, by the scruff of it's ugly neck and wrung out a result. Exactly what we are missing in this squad.

Songo'o was "sold to us" as the leader on the field, but to date I have yet to see him have any significant influence on players that are clearly not giving their all.

As for transfer activity, we knew we had to be ready, we knew we had a poor squad yet one third in only one of the twenty five deals done in League two have involved us and other clubs around us, namely the ones as desperate as us make up the most activity, specifically Colchester, Carlisle & Stevenage who make up nearly half of those deals.

Instead, we are left with reasonable technical players like Gilliead, Cooke, Vernham, Watt who together have a heart the size of a garden pea. To get out of this league, we don't need reasonably technical players we need players who have hearts the size of Nathan Doyle, Gary Jones, Rory McArdle, Andrew Davies, James Hanson, Kyle Reid, Stephen Darby et al.

It’s a fair point, 1200 fans can’t light a fire in their bellies. Maybe they’re all just crap, players and management alike! The issues run deep at the club.
