Can you imagine Him rattling buckets and carrying a sheet round VP for people to throw money in to to keep the club alive during the last admin (Some of those coins hurt if they hit you)

I hated going 9/10 times when PP was in charge. For the handful of decent games, you had to sit through months of turgid football to get to that point. If I'd have been in a happier relationship at the time I would've blobbed games but it was a nice excuse to leave for the day. Mcardle to Hanson then hope for a lucky break to Wells, repeat Thought that was the last I was going to see of that but here we are again.

 

We often have more clear goal scoring opportunities than the opponents for one, I can only think of Crewe and Plymouth where we haven’t. But maybe everyone in this league is just negative.

Yeah seen there injury list is rather large to say the least. Michael Flynn I believe is considering reregistering himself as a player after not playing in 2 and a half years for the game at Brighton tomorrow night in the EFL Trophy.

I'd go with this, with the exception of Taylor over Cooke. Taylor impressed me with his enthusiasm on Saturday and wasn't afraid to get stuck in at times, whereas Cooke has been very below par for his last 3 games

Unfortunately we all know Bowyer won't go 442 though, which will lose him a lot of faith on Saturday should we not win

 

For me this marks the start of what should be 8 points out of 12 minimum
Anything less I think we should consider Bowyers position

Saturday was bad enough but like you say, these lot a decimated and there for the taking.
Orient are in freefall
Carlisle and Mansfield being tougher but still points available.
If we are say 8 points adrift of the top 3 by new years day and still playing in the same lethargic, inflexible and ill-disciplined way then his team isn't the one to take us up this season which is essential.

Someone like that needs to come in at the end of the season, assess the squad, make the changes, get a couple of years grace, zero criticism, and be allowed to run the club.

 

Only for the odd few criticising the club, chairman, ICEO, manager, assistant manager,backroom staff, kit man, players, ball boys, fans.

 

Newport have a few injuries to first choice defenders and I hear they are struggling in central defence, they are also very direct and physical. If Bowyer gets the tactics right on Saturday then Newport are there for the taking. A decent team at this level no doubt but with their defensive injuries and their form starting to dip we should be winning this one at home.

I was watching Bowyer on Saturday whilst we were lumping it long and he wasn't happy. In his defence I doubt he tells the players to lump it unless its neccessary. It did look on Saturday, especially when Reeves was on the ball that he looked to want to play but with very little, if any movement for him. The wide men need to improve a lot again to get us playing and with options wide.

433 can work if the movement is good and it gives you options, I think we play more 451 personally but its irrelevant if nobody is wanting the ball.

We (City) have our obvious faults - Bowyer, and his set up's, yet Flynn too, has his own issues. However, despite his latest form - Flynn can get a tune or two from his squad, no matter how depleted it seems.
Therefore, until I see Bowyers 'approach' change - I see nothing but a tight hard fought Win for Newport. 0 - 1
