Agreed, the bigger the numbers you need to bring in the higher the risk of another Eisa(bad luck) or cheaper options like Lavery/Robinson/Kelleher to make up the numbers.
Cannot imagine the likes of Cooke/Vernam wanting to stay

 

That sort of complacency only works up to a point. There is a definite shift at the moment because people feel genuinely cheated this season due to the difference between what they were sold and what has been delivered.

Thought Watt had his best game in a while last night. As did foulds. The rest need to try put some more energy in.

 

Unbelievably, as some have already said, I thought Threlkeld had his best game too. Must be feeling threatened by Hendrie!

 

I agree I’ve been critical of Watt lately but it looks like the break did him good, that Daly looked like he couldn’t be bothered at times. Whether he’s out of position or not I’m not impressed, no excuse for a lack of work ethic.

 

Daly has started 3 matches now and I haven't seen him make a tackle. He looks lively for 20 minutes and then disappears.

 

I know and that simple ball through to Walker that would have had him through on goal at the start of the second half was shambolic I’d expect pub players to execute that, never thought I’d say this but I think Gilliead should start over him although the Bolton fan said Delfonso can play on the wing which I didn’t know so maybe he’ll be useful there with Vernam on the other side when fit. Should at least provide a bit of much needed pace.

Anyone hear the co-commentary of Gary Jones last night? Because he was hammering the character of the side. Criticising it for a lack of energy and desire to win first and second balls, make forward runs, questioning why we're not getting at a team who hadn't scored in 9 hours and took 80 mins and going a goal down to show any sort of urgency.

I know who's take I'm siding with. A perfect summation of why we are, where we are, and why we continue to see the club run like the tin pot outfit it now is.

Amidst of tho load of Crxp we saw yesterday I thought Elliot Watt was a class above just wish he could keep the consistency

 

I thought there were only two ways we were going to score yesterday - either some kind of through ball from Watt or a Sutton run creating something. To be fair though Foulds made a real effort to get up and support and put in crosses.

 

Agree-its all about promotion this season -nothing else will do.
