Fully agree with you USG. Turnbull made easy peasy signing players he knew ( from old), that were available and most likely cheap.

It also shows the naivety of the two previous management team perhaps?

 

They are his own players according to Mr Sparks ,"The manager was fully involved"
The biggest problem with trying to hoodwink someone is forgetting what you have said
I think a rift is starting to appear between Mr Sparks and Mr Adams and there is only one winner

I don't think any of the examples you give conflict with the criteria I mentioned. And, just as an aside, Macclesfield and Stockporrt aren't and never were in Lancashire.

 

The Fleetwood & Morecombe situation suprises me as many times those clubs are quoted as shinging examples of clubs with good owners building the club the correct way and moving their clubs forward.

 

Youve got history with writing off strikers not good enough for the great Bradford City - Eaves, Kee, Lyle Taylor, Madden...and Stockton.

 

The one I got wrong in that lot was Eaves, thought he was a big tall donkey but fair play to him, he's gone on to do well for himself. Way better than what we currently have.
