Insane scenes at Bristol Rovers, done great to turn their season around and shows how important loans are!

First time with iFollow? They do that every week. I was surprised they stayed live for the lap of appreciation.

 

Bristol (when we played them away) impressed me more than anyone else this season. I missed the game at our place where apparently they were crap, but at their gaff, they were excellent. Exeter impressed me too. Other than that, we've blown a massive chance this season.

No passing about this summer, we need to build a proper side.

Vernam looks like he's off, so he needs replacing properly. And I'd love us to be able to keep Walker.

They were very poor the first half, we should have made the game safe with the chances we had and missed, Barton made changes at half time and Rovers looked a different team, he's done a great job down there many clubs would have shown him the door with the poor start to the season they made.

 

Yes when I read it back it did sound like he'd been given time, bet it felt like that under Derek.

He didn’t do one as far as I can recall. It was just the three at radio Leeds going on for an hour unless I missed it.

 

Hughes was interviewed after Radio Leeds went off air and it will be on Twitter later.

 

The one in the first half where he turned what should have been a 50/50 into a 60/40 in favour of their player just by holding back from the tackle was particularly obvious.

 

He was very very effective today. Compare that with Adams et al thinking he’s a wide player. His interchange with Watt was pretty good and that’s where Hughes and Hodges have taken us to a better level already. Let’s face it it was the same squad that Adams used!

 

Sparkie just commenting on players who may not be with us next season, they have seen what we as fans can offer do they want to be a part of that next season every other week playing in front of crowds like today, because that's what he believes will be on offer.
With regards the likes of Walker he would be delighted to keep him and he believes purely on a football level Jamie would love to stay but they have got their children in school and he's away from his family all week he has that to take into consideration.
