He still lives local and did a fans night a few weeks ago in his local pub.
He always comes across as a really top bloke. Like others have said, you’re probably best trying to get hold of him either through bradford city or through the pulse.
I can only echo what others have said about the players.
OB has a first class attitude which put others to shame last season and he could play a bit too. Keep developing him and you’ll have a decent player there.
Woods looked like a good fullback. Our performances were always better when he played although that might just be because our other left back, Adam Chicksen was utterly shite. Unfortunately as we were warned by PNE fans, Woods’ appearances were sporadic as he spent more time in the treatment room than on the pitch. He’d play one game then disappear for a few weeks injured.
Scannell was clearly one of our most talented players but we only saw him for a month at the start and a month at the end of the season due to a suspicious injury. I think that we’ll struggle to keep him in league two given his wages.
Payne was brilliant up until January and then completely lost his way probably through having to carry the team. He ended up on the bench at the end because Bowyer didn’t fancy him that much. Struck me as a luxury player who would do better in a better team.FrenchBantam likes this. -

O’Brian was brilliant all season, we have sent you back a more experienced player. Might struggle to start with at the pace of the Championship, but stick with him, his attitude and professionalism is fantastic.
Woods, good when he played, spent most of the time with us injured.
Scannell, great player, but once again injured for most of the season, if he stays with us, he will stand out if he can stay fit.
Payne, very good talented attacking player, his defensive play needs more work. Was outstanding player up until January, but not impressed after that. Not sure if that is a fundamental attitude problem. -
O’Brien - most promising signing we got. Good on the ball and good work ethic. Would love him back if we get back up.
Payne - was IMO our best player up to around February time and then just seemed to lose his way. He is technically very good and probably asked to do too much donkey work in a poor side. Will have no problem getting a club -
I'd say over the course of the season O'Brien has been the standout. The only player this season bar caddis who can safely say he gave it his all. Scannell looked alright but decided to disappear with injury for most of the season, Woods looked good for about ten minutes then joined scanz in the physio room. Payne's attitude stinks evidently and he won't be playing for anyone good until he marries his undoubted ability with greater work ethic. Sulked after Jan when he didnt get a move and a player of his ability playing at his best could have been the difference between us staying up and going down.
