    Got Barnsley out of this league, did feck all wrong at Bell end road and knows the club! No brainer for me!!

    Not sure he knows the club now, it's 10 years ago since he was last involved, but yes I'd be happy with Paul Heckingbottom becoming our next head coach.

    I too would be happy with Heckingbottom but if it is going to be him why the delay. Only reason I can see for a delay is negotiating the new mans release from his current club

    I can’t imagine he’ll have too many options if he wants to get back into a job now. Don’t think Championship clubs will touch him and in league one Barnsley won’t have him again after he walked out.

    We’re his best option, but whether he’s the best option for us I’m not so sure.

    Just that he has experience bringing younger players through and not doing badly with them, plus he's spent 11 years at Exeter so he's unlikely to jump ship. Has his teams play good football too. For me he ticks all the boxes on what we're apparently looking for
