well, he's gone down so he can get the person done.

if he didn't react like that, it wouldn't of made the media etc

The goalkeeper might have gone down easily, but that was terrible behaviour by the Hibs fan and there is no excuse for that.

As much as I love watching derby matches, they can really bring out the worst in people.

same for neil lennon going down like that because a coin hit you on the chin, totally wrong from the hearts fan but no way should he throw himself to the floor like that

I dont even think the coin hit Lennon on his face. He seemed to look at it, thought about it, then threw himself to the floor clutching his head. Don't agree with throwing coins but he was goading the fans.

Just watched the goalkeeper footage. My granny used to stroke my face like that when she gave me a fiver in a card for my birthday. The world's gone barmy.

He'd been goaded for the whole game, is goading a one way thing? He could have lost an eye, all for responding to goading, your morals are all mixed up. What happens to Lennon in Scotland is a national shame.

I clearly said that I don't agree with throwing coins. If you think that the reactions from Lennon and his goalkeeper were in line with what actually happened to them reflected the actual situation then fair enough. I dont agree. Goading is fine. It works both ways. Violence in any form I will never condone. My morals are never in question because I only have to answer to myself not you.

Whatever, your posts above are there.........

Of course he got hit by a coin. And if any employee anywhere got hit by a coin whilst going about their business, they'd most likely react similarly. Same goes for the keeper, he's a goalkeeper not a boxer = not used to being hit, macho man.

I stand by my previous posts. Overreaction from both of them. At what point did they need to roll around on the floor holding their face.

I am not sure tbh. Let me wang a £ coin at your mug and we'll get closer to finding out............come on, it's going to hurt, and if you are not expecting it, even more so.

If you punched me in the face I wouldn't go down like either of them. That's my point. If you threw a pound coin at me I,d put it in my holiday jar.

You point is not really valid, you are not them, you are watching it on a screen, I don't think you have any idea about what a £ coin feels like hitting you from metres way. I think you'd go straight down.

To be honest abbomf you are getting on my nipples. I think you are backing up a pair of pussies who used the situation to make them look like they were being abused. The Lennon situation is irrelevant in this case. By the way I don't agree with that either. But behave yourself. I wouldnt like you as a juror in a court case unless I was trying to get away with something.

@abbomf@abbomf and @Daisy Mcniven@Daisy Mcniven enjoying your little exchange and it takes me back to the days of when we nearly went under as a club, Stafford making a rallying call at St Georges Hall.
Some of us took it upon ourselves to organise a blanket collection at half time, seemed a good idea at the time.
We came out as the players went in at half time, collecting from the old wooden stand infront of the Kop and down the Midland Road side, piece of cake this blanket collecting, then the Bradford End with many of our mates in attendance, what a set of b*****ds throwing old twopence coins at us rather than any attempt to get it in the blanket.
So I have to say it hurt if the coins hit you on your head or face, I was on one of the front corners and could not get away from the barrage unlike the lads on the back corners who just lifted the blanket up to fully cover themselves.
It wouldn't be allowed in this day and age Health & Safety getting involved.
Good memories now but not at the time.

Lennon invites on himself everything he gets. He's a see you hen tea of the highest order who loves to goad fans and then play the victim when anyone reacts. His own behaviour needs eradicating from the game just as much as the coin throwing.

Lennon did not invite on himself the death threats, the bullets in the post, the many examples of graffiti calling for his murder, him being knocked unconscious in the street, him having to have a panic button installed in his house. I am sure there are other examples I have not included.

Are you claiming that this was all justified just because you do not like his antics on the pitch?

There are not many people involved with football who have had to put up with what he has had to put up with. Mourinho likes to goad opposition fans, but he has not received the same level of reaction that Lennon has.
