Admin could be closer than many of us think.

Don’t think it will happen but we launched an early ST campaign which must have failed. Fans want Bowyer out.

Knock on effect is we’re now desperately budget balancing.

Doyle recall was all a ploy to get more out of Swindon it seems.

Now rumours are the top earners on the move and no funds about to replace them.

It needs a floating charge holder, a director or a shareholder to place a business in to administration.

Bradford City has two directors. Rupp and the Secretary Alan Biggin.

Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank have a floating charge on the the club’s assets which was taken out in 2005 and apparently remains outstanding.

The first two aren’t putting the club in to admin and why would the latter? If Rupp allows an unpaid debt, possibly a revolving overdraft facility, to Yorkshire bank to tip the club into administration, he loses what he’s put in. I cannot imagine that scenario happening.

Doyle is leaving because he’s not happy at City and Swindon will pay £50k for him, substantially less that what they offered earlier in the month. If the club was skint, he’d have gone on the 4th January for the £90k they offered plus saving another month salary.

Vaughan allegedly said it’s me or Bowyer and in that scenario unless your name is Messi, the manager wins. He’s also allegedly not the most popular player and Tranmere is closer to his home etc. If the club were skint they’d not have given him a three year and wouldn’t have sent him on loan, they’d have sold him.

If the club was truly skint more players would be leaving. Akpan, AOC and the injured Riley are on big money.

 

I don’t think it will happen, but we aren’t in a good financial position and Rupp is not providing financial commitment to the budget anymore now moving on these two (unless we sign two more but thats unlikely) so admin, although unlikely, is still closer than many believe.

It ain't gonna happen soon if Rupp thinks our club is worth £10m.

It's worth what someone would pay for it just as any other commodity, our problem is if Rupp thinks he can run the club as Mark & Julian did, whilst trying to get us to the Championship he has a big job on his hands, it can be done Mark & Julian nearly achieved it under Parky's last season but they were both hands on.
I wonder if it would take Rupp to sell up and go to get the old ethos back in our club, I genuinely thought things would change with Rahic out the door, Rupp supporting Bowyer financially, on paper quality players brought in who were above league two level with 14,000 fans backing ths club.
Let's hope the comings and goings get us back on track and we go on to clinch a play off place at least.

 

Fordy runs concerted campaigns against everyone at the club every season. In short, he wants everyone sacked. He jumps on anything that sows the seeds of discontent and uses it to justify his campaigns. We lose a game - he wants someone sacked. We sell a player - he wants someone sacked. We sign a player - he wants someone sacked. I'm a bit surprised he's jumped on this particular issue as it nullifies all he stands for. Nearing admin? - we're nowhere near being in a position to sack anyone then are we?

 

Maybe the only thing keeping Bowyer and especially Drury in a job right now is that the board don't want to pay them off and then have to finance replacements.

Not saying that means that we are destined for admin, but funds look very tight.

And don't back track by saying 'you only heard this'. You have given a solid opinion on Rupp and Rhodes based on it.
