    OR is it just me being behind the times, and I'm the last one ? :D

    There will only be three relegated from League one this season - Understandable.
    In League two, there will be just one ! Yes, it did surprise me ..... I was expecting the usual two, and three promoted from the National League.

    Hopefully this will have no impact on City .......... And currently, it doesn't appear City will be playing any team desperately scrapping for points (at the bottom), as the season closes.
    However, things can change quickly in football, as we all know .....:*@

    Has this actually been confirmed now. Bury are canvassing every FL club to vote for their reinstatement to the EFL at league 2 level next season. If they win their appeal, then it will be 2 teams relegated from league 2, surely?

    i thought it was 4 up 1 down from league 2 then 2 up from Conference as per usual.

    Start with 24 and 4 get promoted and 1 gets relegated leaves 19.

    Then 19 plus 3 relegated from L1 and 2 promoted from Conference gives 24

    As my post ........ Lge 2, 24 Clubs, four promoted, one relegated = 19.
    Three down from Lge 1, and two up from Nat Lge = 24. :)

    The EFL operates to a policy of reducing relegation numbers, rather than increasing promotion places, when deal with the loss of Clubs so yes, as far as League Two is concerned it will promote 4 and receive 3 from League One and compensate for this by only relegating 1 club, while receiving 2 from the National League.

    Of course, any successful appeal by Bury (which now looks very unlikely) would change the above.

    A Bury MP has decided that, rather than ensuring that the democratic wishes of the people are carried out, his time would be better spent running a campaign to overturn the rules and have Bury FC reinstated to league 2 next season. In these strange times I wouldn't be surprised if he's successful.

    Bury pushing hard from all clubs to back them in being reinstated to league 2 , okayish with that but like to think they would start with the -12 penalty they would have got this year , would probably have got relegated anyway so no real punishment apart from the season long ban , if they had to start way down the leagues with a new club it take a hell of a lot longer to get back.
