Harry Chapman

Bobby Moore being the case in point. 100plus England caps, world cup winner but couldn't manage a team.

 

Fifty years of watching.

 

Chapman would absolutely be in my first XI if I was selecting the team. He's the only one that consistently looks a threat to the opposition and one of only a few that always wants the ball and never looks to hide.

We've certainly got options and most are interchangeable so it'll be horses for courses I'd imagine but Chapman will no doubt get a significant number of starts if he continues as he is.

 

The problem is it seems he needs to build up his confidence every match.

He seems to beat himself up a lot or be harsh on himself instead of being comfortable with trying things and realising not everything will work. He seems to get frustrated with himself a bit rather than moving on and giving the next opportunity his full effort. Must be mentally exhausting.

 

That’s not a benchmark USG. People on here have been watching many a year, yet talk utter horse shite. ( Me included sometimes)
