Harrogate Town

Well done

 

Good to see Harrogate in the 5th tier for the first time. Well done to all concerned

 

I was at the game .
great atmosphere, 3000 there today, good to see my home town gain promotion.

 

How did the atmosphere compare to some of our home games
Fans will create a great atmosphere whilst watching a team display effort and committment if only the same could be said Lesson to be learnt for our chairmen here

 

the atmosphere was fantastic, town fans sang from start to finish .
the game was not segregated which was interesting although I did keep singing the wrong words inserting city instead of town on the songs .
great day finished off with pints with the players in the club house after

 

Fantastic news for non-league football in Yorkshire. Its good to see another local side succeed after the relegation of my local side Guiseley.

They pushed Salford close so its good to see the best side over the course of the season succeed in the play offs. I believe that Harrogate are investing in their infrastructure and this promotion has come ahead of schedule but their plans look very exciting for the town.

Who'd have thought a few years ago that Harrogate would be a league higher than York!

Worked on the hospitality/classroom in the ground a few years back proper old fashioned club with volunteers and characters behind the scenes . Delighted for them .

 

Do they still have the same father/son owner and manager combination

 

Yeah Simon weaver is the manager his dad I believe has something to do with strata homes and maybe polypipe
