Harrogate Match Re-scheduled Twice [now Monday 12 Oct '20]

Ridiculous. What are the police worried about, and what difference does it make playing Sunday?

 

First game available for supporters to attend in person . Coupled with local lockdown restrictions, footfall in the city centre will be lesser on Sunday, rather than Saturday... .

Well that's my guess for starters

 

Can’t see any reason at all there will be no away fans there so what difference does it make

 

Worlds gone mad. On what justification has the kick off day and time been changed? There's no away fans allowed at grounds and there'll be less than a thousand fans for a pretty meaningless fixture?

 

It's a league game, the first to POTENTIALLY allow admission of supporters, at Valley Parade, so I expect more than a thousand!!!

I'm getting mixed up, i thought it was an away game. Be honest i can't see away fans being let into grounds at all this season.

Was just gonna post this Idle. A real potential for further games to be moved until local lockdown restrictions at the least are withdrawn. On that one, your guess is as good as mine.

 

I'd guess they've got some Intel that some Harrogate fans are going to travel across and either try and get into the match or cause problems with some of our trouble makers. By moving it to early Sunday it'll make it harder for them to travel as they probably will travel by train.

 

Huge local derby against fierce rivals, correct decision made all round.

 

Whilst this sounds dead exciting , id say the local authorities in the tweet was the clue
