    Just wanted to wish all my fellow Bantams a very happy new year and I sincerely hope that it is a year for us all to come together and celebrate some success on the field.

    It is also a time to reflect on those Bantams who have passed this year. God rest their souls.

    They will mate. I remember last New Years Eve being in one of our local pubs with the wife and kids for a “family meal and party night” with friends of ours and their kids having decided to sacrifice driving down for the Morecambe game on New Year’s Day as I knew I’d be over the limit (I had been at Carlisle Boxing Day and the Mansfield home game on the Sunday). A fine example of taking things for granted as I assumed I’d be at pretty much every Saturday home game and a few away games during 2020.

    The bad times do pass eventually, it’s then a case of enjoying the good times.

    I know a couple of regular posters on here, would probably recognise a few more if I was unfortunate enough to see your picture but even if I don’t know you, I look forward to the day we are all (safely) back at VP and no doubt pissing and moaning afterwards.

    Thoughts with all those families that have had loved ones pass this horrible year :cry:

    Let's hope the government get their sh1t together and get the vaccine rolled out asap so that we can get back to some sort of normality.
