Enjoyed the game today, most of the fans I talked to after said you were the best side seen at BP this season so far ,it was definitely the most entertaining as you are the only team who have come so far to have a go which actually suited us (hence why we are a lot better away than at home.

Great to see a full away half end to ,today just shows me why we need a higher capacity even more attendance only 8k yet I couldn't see any/many empty seats .

Think you will be up there and hopefully now we can make a play off surge but as you know league 2 is very up and down

Didn't see any of the game today but 4 points and 2 clean sheets from Salford and Grimsby away...

Anyone who didn’t enjoy that as a fairly even game by two sides wanting to win, both NOT timewasting, NOT play acting …needs a head shake! Some people are bloody deluded . A point was deserved….by BOTH sides.

 

Great point against tough opposition 4 points from 2 difficult away points is excellent, we need to get the home form going now

 

Stop moaning , a point away from home , against a team hitting form.
We are not going to win every match, but making sure we get something from the game is crucial and every last one of you would have taken a point at 2.59 pm

 

Can’t fathom some of the negativity (albeit minority) on here and Twitter after yesterday.

Good game of football where the home team probably just shaded it but don’t think either can complain at a draw.

obviously we’d love to dominate games and piss the league but it isn’t going to happen and never was, we are league 2 same as everyone else and we are off the back of 2 bottom half finishes last two seasons. It’s not a miracle cure to just walk over the league everyone will give us a game.

I wonder how many wouldn’t have taken 4 points from the last 2 away games? Next to non would be my guess. I’d have taken 2/3 points let alone 4.

Now it’s important to follow it up with a few decent home displays and results.

We obviously still hope to improve and I think we need to for promotion but it’s hardly far fetched to suggest it’ll come.

 

He is the first keeper we have had for a long time that wins and saves us points. Probably our best signing of the summer

I don’t get some peoples comments that we are relying on the saves Harry Lewis makes, he is employed as a goalkeeper and only doing his job, stepping up when needed.
It just so happens that Hughes made the right decision to sign him.

Chapman can be infuriating. Technically better than this level and shows it at times but at others his passing and vision just isn't there. Needs to impose himself more because the talent is there.

 

Chapman should have had us 1 - 0 up after our early dominance, but they were the better team second half and as you say Lewis did what he's paid to do.
I don't understand your happy clappers comment we're in a good position in the league, Banks, Walker, Eisa, Odusina etc to come back and give more competition to the squad.
You must hate it when we don't get beaten, sign of a good side not putting in constant performances and getting points.

 

We really weren't you clueless gimp. Grimsby probably shaded what was a cracking game of football. If you didn't enjoy that then I'd suggest football isn't for you.

 

How many are gonna try sneak into the home end wearing our away kit?

 

I think East can count himself hard done by after his good performance at Salford.

I think I would have kept him in the team and brought back Gilliead to replace Pereira.

Anyhow, in MH we trust

 

Behave. It’s a decent point against a competent Grimsby side away from home. We will have better games but it’s important that when we don’t play well that we don’t lose.

 

From a neutral point of view that was an excellent game of football. Fair result although Harry Lewis again having a second half that kept us in the game. Hard to complain with a point against a team who played some good stuff at times.

 

I'm really positive about this season and any of you poor readers, will know I'm not always positive around this club.

A little bit more goals and assists from others in the squad is definitely needed but whilst we are not firing on all cylinders, we've lost 1 in 10 (Ali Campbell would be impressed), sit neatly in the play off positions, have the joint 3rd defensive record (scoring 2 against 2nd best Tranmere, whom are bang in form since we beat em) and have the 2nd best scorer in the league.

It's fine having a moan about individual matches but overall, it's a positive season. For those having a pop/bitch/wind up, remind the last time, we were in a positive position come the end of October
