I fully understand his point as I said these are young pros that can be brought in at very little cost to be part of the development squad. If they prove good enough through good scouting they get their chance early. But without this he would have not been at the club.

The fact that Robinson showed he was good enough early is good scouting for the Squad others like Gibson whether or not he gets a contract has taken a season and maybe others will take longer. And as I say it is also a vehicle for our youth players with promise who are not yet ready for the first team to continue their development
