I know a few on here enjoy a flutter. What's everyone backing today.

I have Mahler Mission in office sweepstake, which I'm happy with.

I fancy Meetingofthewaters to give Willie Mullins an overdue win in the race.

Of the others I think Panda Boy and Kitty's Light will be prominent in the finish

    Limerick lace for me.

Won an absolute fortune on Noble Yeats (wife’s maiden name) 2 years ago so will have a couple of quid on it again.

Stattler at big prices as it SHOULD stay. That said Limerick Lace is my main tip

Quilixios is my thing in the 5.00. left at the start last time, ground ideal and a nice flat track

The expert has spoken and agreed with my tip.
I’m genuinely humbled and a little bit giddy.

    Also piling on Stattler now.

Nobody is an expert on picking the national winner.

Your once a year granny having a bet has as much chance as the industry's best experts in picking the winner.

It's just a complete one off.

Look at the best national hunt trainer in the world Willie Mullins,it's almost 20 years since he won with Hedgehunter in 2005

    Very true.
As I said earlier I picked the winner 2 years ago (33/1) because it was my wife’s maiden name.

Not convinced it's a one off and as such a lottery anymore. We have a English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish grand national winners in the race together with former winners. With Mullins and Elliot in the fold, there's much more to form than in yesteryear.

Luck plays a huge part mind

I get what you are saying Dave, to an extent.

My point though is it's a race where you are just as likely to see an amateur jockey winning on a horse that's not won a race for 2 years over a good horse that has pedigree and trained by the likes of Mullins.

A great spectacle, but still more of a lottery than any other big race in the racing calendar.

Are you working?. Was in your shop earlier today

Good to see a class horse win it for Mullins. My wife has bragging rights over me today backing the right Mullins horse.. what's hers is mine though as the happily married motto goes!

Super finish. Came out of nowhere. Biggest laugh of the day was Corach Rambler unseating at the first. Audible gasp from the crowd. Didn’t seem to be as much carnage as normal, and good to see no horse had to be put down. I had a tenner each way on Galia des Liteau. Missed out by a few places.

It was a very entertaining race.

No injuries, less fallers than usual, an excellent finish with 6 or 7 in contention approaching the final fence, with the class of I Am Maximus showing in the end.
