Sniff 'n the Tears, Driver's Seat. One of those seemingly lost/forgotten classics from the days when one was young.

Just listened, I remember it and it has an infectious hook but I can see why it doesn't get much air time.

I stuck my phone on a random shuffle last night on my way home and Fleetwood Mac, Seven Wonders came on. Great song, as were most of theirs

Geno by dexys midnight runners. Loved the song but couldn't understand a bloody word he was singing. Googled the lyrics and now enjoy singing along especially the brrrr bit.

It's about Geno Washington.. "Back in '68 a sweaty club " etc.

Kevin Rowlands is an old soul boy.

I kept typing in dexys and it changed it to hemp! How appropriate. Evidently the song, like you say, is about Geno Washington and how he went to see him in concert has a teenager and how he was now surpassing him musically.
