    Thanks for the piece John. Do you ever regret not signing up to work for the Stasi??
    Anyway, I am sticking with my thinking that Rupp has had a "word" with Rahic, JR is a result of that word and that before too long, a group of investors will be buying Rahic out.
    And I bet your conversation was in German :thumbup:

    They’ve filled us with sh*t for 3 years and now we’re on the brink of relegation.

    I think if was wait till January it could be too late, especially if they aren't brought in until the latter end as last season, we could have played 10+ games by then.

    Potential open meetings between Rahic and Supporters (Season Ticket holders) do not appear to be happening despite his public declaration at the beginning of September.
    The reintroduction of Julian Rhodes to the club as a ‘Consultant’ (sounds like a Minister without portfolio) has been a significant change in the management structure.
    Perhaps Julian Rhodes and Supporters should have some meetings to ‘clear the air’ and clarify the position, if Rahic does not have the stomach to do so!
    The main focus has been Rahic, who seems to have an interesting and varied career, and is someone who appears to have problems in communication and working in ‘partnership’ with supporters, whilst also having a ‘strident’ vision for the future development of the club.
    Rupp is the major shareholder, the person with the money and a more straightforward history of business success.
    The fact that John Dewhirst has met with Rupp, and made th effort to do so in Germany, is to be applauded. It demonstrates vision and positive action.
    Whether much will come from it waits to be seen. It may well be too late this season, but in the absence of any tangible alternative, then trying to work with Rupp seems to be an option which should be thoroughly explored.

    The time for throwing our arms in the air, if that's your bag, have long since gone i'm afraid John. The owners have brought in a consultant to come up with and implement suggestions to improve matters, i agree we have no choice but to back Julian and see what this brings. The point is my confidence, or lack of it , in the present incumbents is based on what has been delivered both on and off the field and on this basis alone i fail to see how one can be confident they have the ability to deliver future change. Give me one reason why i should other than we simply have no other choice ? Is that what it's come to.
