Likely that he won't even get a game so can't say I'm too bothered who we signed to fill the position.

Ha ha. Must admit, I felt a bit ‘meh’ reading it. Like when DMH re-signed. Hopefully Hornby proves up to it and we don’t get any more rushes of blood to the head.

This lad was well regarded at Leeds but is there a reason he’s not played much for BPA?

Has the potential to be a long term signing, Could turn out to be a very astute signing,

 

Big gamble if hornby gets injured. Cheap option wud rather of had experienced back up with where we r in table

 

Probably a very good thing he isnt the stans regular goalie as they are currently bottom half of Conference North.

Then you have to ask why he wasn't able to get a game in a poor team.

ROD still under contract for another season so maybe a cheaper option than Hornby for next season as the interims get a good look at him.
You can just feel the ambition at this club in a January transfer window.

 

Hope he is as good as Pat Liney. Can he sing too?

 

To be fair he was Leeds 2nd choice for a while so they trusted him to be on the bench Clean sheet in his only appearance for them.

 

Lets just remember the talk was we have 300k of the budget left. If we bring in this kid on peanuts, the sex offender defender on loan and Leeds winger on loan, that won’t account for masses of it (assuming we only partially pay loan players wages) but it would leave wiggle room to bring in a few players who potentially improve the side.......we need those latter signs to happen though. We are in for a striker and they are the most expensive players to recruit......

 

He's only been at BPA for 2 months.

 

Signs to the end of the season. Has good experience. Goes back to Bradford and makes the number one spot there his own. All if Hornby stays fit, hopefully!

No need to spend loads on a back up keeper. Sensible decision.
