Ricky I get were your coming from but we cannot rely on other teams being shite in the hope we stop up.
Fact is we shouldn't even be talking like this.

 

Results went for us today although Oxford won against another bottom club so now right behind us.

The real downer will be if we hit bottom and we continue looking like it's where we belong!

 

After today's final whistle I walked away with nothing more than defeatist thoughts going through my head.
Long way to go Ricky but fear the writing is already on the wall we look lost out there today.

 

Bottom by bonfire night

 

We feel like Bury last season. Loads of players signed who are supposedly "good" yet no idea how to make them into a team

Supposedly good? I think this is a myth tbh. Wright has turned out to be the exact player who Southend and Gillingham fans couldn't wait to get rid of, Akpan clearly wasn't nicknamed "Hopeless" without a reason as his performances prior to his injury justify that tag, Riley and Seedorf were two unknowns and are playing like players who aren't used to this level, It's easy to see why O Connor was disliked by Aderdeen fans and it wasn't just because he had said mean things about them, Scannel's career suggested that he doesn't score and assist very often which is why he has little end product despite showing glimpses of skill, I'm not sure on Mellor although our fans were very excited about this signing without seemingly having much substance behind it, Payne came with a genuine reputation of being a good footballer at this level which is why he's been our best outfield player to date, McGowan was viewed as a new signing and has had a bizzare playing career to say the least and most strikers no matter how good they may have been previously would struggle in this current team.

In short, I'm not convinced these players were as good for their previous clubs as our fans think they were. You could put up valid arguments for most of them not being up to the required standard even before a ball was kicked.

 

Nope you are not, we are just awful. Enjoy whatever you are doing.

 

Sorry lads n' lasses but hell, I'm so glad that I'm not there to witness what these two owners are doing to our club.
As a supporter since 1955 it breaks my heart to see and hear what's happening at VP.
I'm afraid that if I was there I wouldn't be able to control my anger which would, without doubt, be vented at Rahic from not too far away.
I hope, for the long term sake of my club, that the fans stop dilly dallying and let Rahic know on Saturday that it's time him and his mate cleared off.
No excuses about it putting off the players or whatever, something needs to be done by the fans and NOW, to stop this.
It needs to be picked up by the media so that word gets to friggin' Germany too.

 

Problem with hope like this Ricky is all we are really saying is we might just be less shite than some of the other shite around us - not a very optimistic position (and to be honest I am not sure if there is anyone worse than us right now)
