It seems to me that some fans are hell bent on doing him down before he’s had a chance to put his stamp on things.

We’re a lower league club with a non league bank balance and fans who have premiership taste. We ain’t going to attract high end managers, but what we have is a safe pair of hands to stop the rot.

Cut him some slack and stop scrutinising every little thing that comes out of the club.

 

People talk about past experience in every place of work, get a grip!

For who? Who do you think would be better? Who do you honestly think could have achieved anything with the crap we've had playing for us this season? We were more or less doomed from the get go due to all of the off field nonsense and we've just begun the process of shipping the wasters out. That will take time because if you hadn't noticed, theyre generally not very good with a poor attitude and nobody wants them. So whilst it's good to be ambitious, calling for his head after 10 games is just daft, remember mate we did that this season and finished bottom!

 

No problem with this whatsoever. Not quite sure why it would bother some. If he achieves the same as he did at Blackpool he can keep bringing it up as far as i am concerned

 

So I'm summary, he shouldn't talk about the things he has done, that are real, that actually happened, he should talk about made up things that haven't happened and aren't real.

How on earth can a comparison be made when Bowyer hasn't had the luxury of a transfer market? Some people talk absolute shite on here. Unless of course it's a feeble attempt at a wind up.

 

Well let’s hope he is quoting successful players and strategies about City soon. All he is saying is that when confronted with the challenges ahead he has experience of dealing with difficult scenario’s successfully.

 

Well he's not gonna fecking say when I was at Man Utd is he? He can only draw on the experiences he's had, which luckily for us is with two other big clubs that were turned into basket cases by poor ownership.

 

He should refuse to answer such questions, we don't want to upset anyone by hearing about his successes at other clubs!!

He can talk about whatever he wants as long as in a year or two he is talking about when he got promoted at Bradford.

 

We all have a view about failure - But to suggest Bowyer is a failure without a signing next to his name at this stage, is ridiculous. TCA has nothing to do with my own view, so it's pointless dragging them into this.
Bowyer may be a God send, or the complete opposite. All I'm asking for is can we wait to see his own assembled squad, before we drive a steak through his heart ?
I hope and expect to see improvement all over the park, next season, with or without any already contracted players on our books - lets see how it plays out, before widespread condemnation takes a hold.
