After wasting another tenner watching that garbage shouting at the tv. Seriously wondering how long we can put up with this we have a winger in gilly that doesn’t play wide no pace no urgency it’s like Gary bowyer has returned it’s even as shit as taylor . So who do we think was the most boring???? Taylor for me but Adams is coming close

All three were better than Stuart's last stint lol don't give a toss about the style of football at times Parkinson's was just as bad

The fact is nobody actually cares about the style of football all that anyone gives a crap about is the results and at the moment they're not good enough Adams should get January through until March but if he can't improve it in the next window he'll be struggling to make it until the Summer window IMO

    That makes no sense though.

You want to trust him in Jan but then not in summer.

This club keeps making the same old mistakes.

    We either do two things:

    1) Sack him now
    2) Don’t spend in Jan and let him see if he can bloody improve any of the players he has and prove that he can manage BRADFORD CITY because boy is he FAILING!

Sparks would be an idiot to trust him in Jan at this moment.

I disagree the mistake the club kept making was sacking managers immediately after the window shut and that meant the next guy was hobbled from the beginning

If we give Adams January which I'm in favour of then we are stuck with him until March or at least until we are mathematically out of the play off race

Beyond that the season has been a failure and we would have to look at whether Adams gets the Summer or not but he would have to earn it if we don't go up and the only way to earn it is to come close by having a very successful January

If we are the same after January or even worse then he will probably walk/go but I don't think that's a likely scenario surely we can only get better after the next window as long as we don't sell players like Watt Cooke Cook O'Connor or Canavan

I dont think Adams is boring - we create chances just cant finish them.

under Boreyer we just didnt create them, hence why Doyle and Vaughan left.

imagine if we had those two this year. Jesus.

And isn't that the problem with long term planning lol if Doyle or Vaughan believed that we would replace Bowyer with a manager that could provide them chances surely they would have stayed but as we know that wasn't the case and we got worse when Bowyer left

Nobody comes close to Taylor. That was the worst period of football we've ever had to endure.

Neither wanted to be here in the first place and the manager/ style of football was just a ruse. Both came for the money and both left for more money. Both football mercenaries.

John Doherty wasn't far off though to be fair and I'd put Colin Todd above all those mentioned so far as he's the only manager that's managed to stop me actually going and I only started going back once he'd been sacked.

    Awful manager.

I well remember the joy I felt at hearing Todd had gone, though in hindsight, would swap him for Adams. At least Todd had Windass to jolly things up.

proven by Doyle pulling down Swindon's pants to go to Bolton.
Vaughan moaned about the travel time then retired the season after, couldn't even put up with it for a year...

Bowyer for me, he’s had the best squad we’ve had at league 2 level except for Parkys promotion season in modern times.

Vaughan and Doyle, even Donaldson as backup is a million miles ahead of what we have now, I’ve no doubt regardless of how shit we are with that striker force atm we’d be a lot higher up.

Bowyer wasted our best chance of promotion, and it’s been budget and quality cuts ever since.

Then Taylor who whenever Hanson was out looked absolutely clueless.

I know his football wasn’t quite as dull but the Jacko’s team were appalling

Adams has a worse win rate than David Hopkin and Michael Collins even - that'll teach me because I was crying out for us to appoint him!

Yorath & Hopkins are the only worse modern day managers with a worse win rate from 20 games or more. You have to go as far back as Colin Veitch in 1928 before that. Anyone else with a worse win rate managed for 19 games or less and even Hutchings was better at 33% and Robson matched Adams at 25%.

What links Veitch, Robson, Yorath & Hopkins was they were all relegation seasons.

I think these stats include cup matches because Hutchings didn't manage 21 league matches. Factor those in and Adams is 19% and the worst win rate of any manager who has ever been in charge of us for 20 matches or more.

Luckily Jacko & Grayson didn't make it to 20.

Yep, he's down there with the rest of the failures.
Here's hoping that come January, with all his exciting signings and the dumping of all the current time wasters, he will get it something right!
