    So tonight its the Wool City Derby and a chance to win our first cup of the season, the Tom Banks Memorial Trophy, which City won last year and Avenue last won in 2017.

    I hope we don't waste this friendly as we have others when fielding a complete XI of trialists.

    It would be good to see the likes of Hornby, Devine, Ismael, Wood, Riley, Patrick and McCartan etc all given a run out to get them more minutes under their belt. Then give the first XI more or less a full game at the weekend.

    Played at U15 level too. Should have some pedigree (I know this doesn't mean he will play well in the men's game before anyone jumps in!)
