    yeh, players are insured but groundings and venues also need liability insurance.. for instance, if something happened to a staff member.

    Might be a bit selective on our side, to try and mask the team we won't be sending to avenue tonight. You'd have thought the official club twitter/site or parker would have a least acknowledged the fact we had a game

    From Simon Parker on the T&A blog for tonights match

    A City team were beaten 2-1 at Bolton this morning in a hastily-arranged game behind closed doors.
    Understand that was a stronger starting line-up than this one against a strong Wanderers side, despite the uncertainty that continues to hang over Phil Parkinson's squad.

    From that i would suggest the team was something like: Hornby, Mellor, French, P O'Connor, Richards-Everton, Scannell, Akpan, Palmer, Gibson, Vaughan and Donaldson

    The kids never played a league game and just a handful in the National. You’d never heard of him until today. Apparently it’s ludicrous to think he might want to play in front of City fans at VP. Fair enough.
