Fresh start

Been a good pre season so far and one of the better ones in terms of getting our targets I can remember. We moved quickly and that was the benefit of keeping Bowyer and not getting another new manager as a few wanted on here.

Do think we will find this league tough as we always did before when we were in it. It’s a slog and teams just defend and hit you at set pieces.

But Bowyer appears to have gone for the right mix and with still a couple to come hopefully.

Top 3 in May would be nice. No drama of play offs.

I agree Dave.
It's not yet a banquet - But the tables display a decent fayre, with the possibility of some more to come. A total contrast to 12 months ago, when we didn't even think of table cloths, let alone the menu !

 

Ready for a fresh start. I have now put to bed, the Rahic era, and moved on.

I just hope City fans can be patient whilst Bowyer continues his rebuilding. I think we must allow a bedding in period for the new look squad

Still think we are at least 2 more signings off being contenders for the top 3.

I can see a couple of loan signings coming in this month, and hopefully, Bowyer will be as organised this window, as he needs to be in identifing targets for the next window in January

All in all, really looking forward to the new season, even though we have dropped back down to the 4th tier
