Flyover Donation Part I: Burns Unit

    Evening all!

    Just to confirm £410 has been donated to the JustGiving page for the BCFC Burns Unit Appeal on behalf of BantamTalk.com.

    The breakdown of the £850 that was refunded to myself, in accordance with the individual wishes of the contributors that got in touch with me, are:

    £410 allocated to the Burns Unit (complete)
    £410 allocated to the Stephen Darby Foundation
    £30 allocated in refunds (complete)

    Thanks again to everyone who contributed, and I'll confirm as soon as I am able to donate to the Stephen Darby Foundation.

    Please note: the 50-50 breakdown of the 820 is actually coincidental, and is in line with each individual request!

    Perhaps let the T&A know. They like a good news story and it showcases, positive action on the part of City Supporters in supporting two worthy charities.

    Just a note of thanks to @Nick_W_@Nick_W_ who had the original idea for the flyover, and was an equal partner in getting this thing off the ground (pun intended).

    I hadn't realised I hadn't mentioned Nick in the OP, so apologies for that bud.

    Excellent efforts @JonButterfield@JonButterfield and @Nick_W_@Nick_W_

    Whilst the notion never got off the ground, the impact ( no matter how small) it had at the time and charitable donations were worthwhile.

    I'm not actually sure as I didn't request it - under the terms of the purchase we could have had it 'presented', but it never crossed my mind!

    It may be an idea to drop an e-mail to David Jagger, who reported the tragic death of Kenny Morse. I guess he may cover articles not actually related to football, but general news. Perhaps copy them both in?
