Very good to see the bond and trust returning.

Credit to Sparks and Longo for this.

I wonder whether these are small steps towards potentially Gibb taking over here again.

Doubt Gibb will be looking to take back control of the club. However, sponsoring the team is a very solid step forward and ironically off-sets - albeit a very small amount - of the rent paid to them.

Maybe this is the former name that was due to make a return?

Big Up to Ryan and Davide for this, complete contrast to Rahic and the sometimes previous approach of "give us your money and be grateful...". I personally know Ryan has been working on this for a long time and clearly created a relationship with Flamingoland, assisted by Davide.
We have a very good commercial team busting a gut to bring even more and last season it saw not only major sponsors invited into the Boardroom but potential sponsors as well, all contributing to a feel good atmosphere aided by the Associate Directors. This will grow more over the coming months and looking after people and welcoming them into an inclusive atmosphere is now seen through the Club. Yes there are still always moans and grounds for improvement but such as Boxes sold out with a waiting list despite price increases says it all. Well done Ryan and Dav.

The cheap season ticket thing is not everyone's cup of tea. But it is offset by our growing commercial activity.
I think that having a full stadium really helps convince companies to partner with City.

It can only be beneficial to try and get onside with the landlords, rather than the "we will take all our seats up to Odsal" approach of the past.

I think it is a good ploy to keep Gibb onside. Yes we would all like VP to return exclusively to City, but until such time that happens we need Gibb to be kept sweet.

Absolutely spot on wetherby. A good business not only knows how to secure customers, but also how to maintain their support through ongoing communications and making them feel valued and wanted. A business deal never ends at the point of a contract being signed. After care is essential.

The club seems to be operating at a much more professional level and long may it continue to grow and prosper.

Really have to say to the @Fordy117@Fordy117 of this world Sparks and his team are doing a remarkable job in transforming this club into a very well run business. Just need to transfer that to the pitch and hopefully rise the leagues

If that's true that's incredible business, almost like a 50% rent reduction.

That's what it will be... A rent reduction not cash in the bank

Whichever way the deal is structured , its still money into the club and a good start to re building the relationship with Flamingo land and Gordon Gibb.
Well done to all concerned, especially Ryan sparks, who i believe brought the commercial manager in, who appears to be doing a fantastic job.

    That's really good news.

Having your landlord as part of your team is definitely a smart thing.

This is one of the more impressive collaborations the team have achieved, and they've already been doing very well in my eyes.

I don't know much about Davide, but he seems like a fantastic member of the team. Congratulations to Ryan and Davide.

Shrewd little '£5 to add the sponsor to your kit' thing, too, as there's really no reason to make the shirt more expensive to produce thus cutting into profit margins - but I imagine some will go for it.

Unless it is the pension fund advertising then I can not see it being done that way due to rules about how pension funds have to be run.
