I disagree. We've got to play them at some stage, and it's one of the top few guaranteed difficult games of the season, so why not tackle them first. Fresh start, new manager, new squad, bumper crowd, it's the perfect time to play them.

Should be a really good attendance that first game. Folk on holiday to consider mind but you'd still think 17-18k???

We will probably sell out Barrow and Hartlepool away too. What are their allocations?

That is an extremely tough run in.

Fixtures haven’t been kind to us at all.

Fairly certain Sky said they'll broadcast L1&2 games during the world cup. Surely with Hughes we will get a game on tele during that window? Northampton at home probably the juiciest tie during that period.

 

well I'd rather watch Donny game for starters but it is what it is!

 

Based on playing 2 teams away that will be there or there about.

Rochdale is a tough place to go. Gillingham have just come down and I expect them to be in the promotion mix and Leyton Orient are now mugs now.

So where do you think we will finish this season? Top? Think you need to come back down to earth.

If you have played the game you will understand the manager will go down the fixtures and be noting his thoughts on the teams we should be beating, might struggle against and likely outcomes. No way Hughes and co are looking at that fixture list and thinking its kind.

Yes, the belief will be there that we can beat anyone but on paper that is a tough fixture list currently and we are not good enough to be thinking its easy.
