    I'd have been more worried to see the likes of Crawley and Harrogate in that run in. Teams that embarrass us on a regular basis.

    You can't possibly know how tough a run in is before a ball has even been kicked. Names don't mean much, take us we should be a force but we constantly lie over and have our tummy tickled.

    We will get a good idea how difficult a run in it is come Christmas when the table has settled down.

    You don't like the first fixture. You don't like the look of the run in.
    In shock news we play all the other teams twice. So if you think these are the difficult fixtures, there are surely easier ones in between. Unless you think all the teams in league 2 are world beating.

    FGR got plenty of points on the board in the first half of the season which enabled them to cushion their loss of form at the so called business end of the season.

    What's to say we cannot do the same?

    I watched last 10 mins with grandsons as they had been watching it on the car on the way. I was wrong. The last 5 mins were like watching Doncaster play….running it into the corner repeatedly. ;)

    They seem to have kept fixtures to a minimum in that period with only 4 plus an FA Cup match and only 2 plus the FA Cup are before the championship return. A lot will depend on how the World Cup fixtures work out I think as they won't want to clash with any big matches. Also with World Cup games taking place at 3pm on Saturday's I would assume that for at least that period the blackout period will be suspended like it is in international breaks.

    Looking at the fixtures in league 1 and 2 across that period on the 19th November there doesn't seem to be any stand out games at the moment other than maybe our match vs Northampton and Barnsley vs MK Dons. On 3rd December Derby play Sheffield Wednesday so that is likley to be on TV but that weekend is when England should be playing their last 16 tie so I don't think Sky will want to risk any clash with that.

    i can't believe no one else has made this thread yet.

    Doncaster at home to start. 20k possibly? maybe I'm being too optimistic but with 14k season tickets at 4k on the day with 2k Doncaster supporters maybe...

    then a good trip to barrow..... i hope to make this one as Christmas and COVID (i didn't get it) only stopped me last season
