They quote lots of players who have died from dementia etc.I'm not sure it tests the cause and effect. Players will be naturally fitter etc. Therefore its more likely they will die from dementia rather than heart attacks etc.

As long as people are aware of the risks then that should be ok. At younger ages the ball doesn't spend that long in the air and the velocity is far lower

 

there are risks in many activities in life as long as people are aware of them that should be enough.if people want to box climb mountains, drive fast cars on race tracks or head a football let them get on with it we don’t want a nanny state

 

My thinking exactly. Players will have to sign an extra disclaimer form if they want to play for Phil Parkinson or Neil Warnock
